I think what one needs to consider first & foremost...is SUV using a hydrous kaolin to produce its metakaolin? if so (& I believe it is) IMO the overall opex of their so called collicrete product will inhibit true large scale commercialisation (mainstream industry). I recall their all-in sustaining cost (ASIC) was >$250/tonne for hydrous kaolin, then you would need to factor in calcination and post roast milling etc .

I maintain that ADN's approach in seeking to develop a unique HRM to enable lower cost SCM's (ie fly ash) to be utilised in greater volumes and ZEO's plan to leverage its high-grade kaolin (c. 90% kaolinite raw ore) and logistic advantage to deliver a low-cost HRM to the east coast, both revolve around a level of economic benefit aimed at achieving low-carbon concrete outcomes, by reducing the clinker % in the binder ratio.

I believe its fair to say anyone (with metakaolin) can simply replace 30-50% of the cement (clinker) in the blend, with HRM and deliver a strong green concrete. Although, as GIGA has said previously and correctly, in the end (as with most things) it comes down to the feasibility ($) at a true industrial scale - which will make or break the green cement aspirations any ASX kaolin player may have.

Again for disclosure, I hold ADN and ZEO, not SUV.
