I used to be annoyed by brokerage but like @stardestr0yer said consider if it goes up considerably then it is of little relevance. IPOs are complex as there is an element of timing (market could decline before listing making for bad sentiment), no track record of how it trades and many other things. It does come back to the quality of the business, hype may stag a stock in the short but without the quality in the long term it will slip back.
