"Dep Gemcitabine enters phase 1/2 clinical trial"

And surprise surprise it hasn't !!
This raises the question after we were told years ago they planned on introducing 1 to 2 new Dep candidates to the clinic annually. It is now almost 3 years since the last one, Dep Irinotecan, entered the clinic and NOTHING has since.
I'm sure the people in the lab are working away diligently but why do they make statements then fail to deliver time and time again without any explanation.
