Having watched it a little throughout the day today, my guess is that whoever has been accumulating, turned off the bot today thinking that people would sell into their bid. When that didn't happen by early afternoon, they switched the bot back on and started the usual trade pattern. There were definitely a lot more of these trades in the afternoon and it helped the SP. Expect more of the same tomorrow.
