I've been waiting for a woman or someone else to start this discussion.

the Loughnane review identified women as leaving the party and recommended urgently addressing the matter with 71% being men.

"the lowest number of women in the Liberal Party since 1993"
    (David Speers)

"they don't want us, they don't value us" say women (Charlotte Mortlock, Liberal Party member)

and Gwen Cherne (Howard's choice) failed pre-selection in favour of Simon Kennedy.

other pre-selections in safe Lib seats preferring men, women left in marginal seats.

for a 21 minute interview ABC LINK

AND only 2 additional women in the Opposition cabinet with Hollie Hughes getting mental health and Melissa MacIntosh getting Energy Affordability and Western Sydney - this sounds so much like Hughes got what she needed and Macka a kewpie doll, though she'll have to work hard on that job.

how much longer will the Libs ignore this vital issue. As Speers said in the interview above, neglect women and you loss votes.
