You know I'm not going to try and argue any side is better than the other, they are all pigs in the trough as far as I'm concerned but my point re. if there are more men in one party than the other holds true - sexism doesn't prevent women being elected, they are either not running, not as popular, or voters simply prefer men for conservative politicians.

There's no conspiracy against women here.
Just as there isn't a conspiracy preventing there being more female garbage trucks drivers or bricklayers.

Your argument that there should be 50/50 in any profession is a rather flawed argument.

Why did Scomo have to ask Jenny for advice on women?. Because males need a woman's influence to guide them when making decisions about women.
