    Earnings tailwind I agree. Even without the commodities factor it will still be positive thanks to our copper, and potash growth projects being on track.

    Although held for a decade or so now. I bought the majority of my BHP holding in the commodities nadir of 2015. I really don't put much focus on the commodities prices or the near term SP action. What matters to me the most on BHP is the earnings so it can maintain the dividend. If I wanted SP accretion kind of growth there are others in the portfolio and that is what they are there for.
