Not being critical. If I understand it correctly the options are 6 bil shares plus $ 176 mil debt or 10 bil shares and no debt and the ledger is kept clear to borrow the funds required to first oil.
I can easily imagine that FAR was not able to finance the lot.
Most of us here from both sides of the fence were expecting at one point or another to be bought out at an astronomical number.
Did not happen and will not happen as we all know by now. Of course we could sell now, but at what price. It is not just management, it is also the times and circumstances change. But decisions had to be made, were made and need to be carried out.
Maybe we do a rain check in 4 weeks time. FAR can and hopefully has changed at that point for the better.
