These fan sand bodies offshore Namibia are in deep waters and are expensive to drill and hence have to be large structures in a setting where light oil is likely. So far it's early days in that particular play and a well will cost >USD50m to drill. Its similar in offshore Guyana but more progressed with production.

This is why Cuba is rare as it's onshore outside of opec in a geological setting similar to the Middle East. The potential is huge given that most wells have oil and gas shows in the block. I'd say there could be half a dozen discoveries in the upper sheet that warrant follow up and 3D seismic.
