Tangles IMO your logic is flawless and whilst it cannot be proven I would suggest anecdotally that you're spot on. The wait for something that is (a) not a big deal and (b) in the national interests of this country can only be explained by back room deals and political shenanigans.
There is a perverse little part of me that almost wants us back in court to have these corrupt pollies held accountable.
