ASX introduces Integrated Trading System for shares
Equities are moving to the ASX’s new Integrated Trading System on Monday, 2 October 2006
As the final phase of the introduction of its new Integrated Trading System (ITS), the ASX will be moving equities trading to ITS on Monday, 2 October 2006.
ITS replaces the SEATS trading platform, which has been in use since 1987. ITS provides a single system for trading shares, warrants, options, fixed-interest securities and futures.
One change you might notice as a result of the move is that the ITS platform only provides five levels of market depth. But in general the move to ITS will make no difference to the way you trade.
