Only an idiot, or a person who has no regard whatsoever for the long term safety of Australia's future, would even consider the demise of Australia's federation. How can we protect ourselves from any greedy country from the far north if we are not united?
And I can't see any signs that it is broken, but there will always be some stress, usually due to very narrow minded politicians, usually from the far West.
