Dear Moderator,
Post 423408 has been incorrectly moderated, I believe.
The history is that this post was made in response to a question asked by a fellow HC member on a stock-specific forum (PRR...post number 9726416).
The nature of this question – and hence its answer – are not specific to that stock, but deal with generic concepts of stock valuation theory.
As such, out of deference to PRR followers, I posted the continuation of this debate on the ASX-General thread.
This subject is no different to many such posts that deal with general valuation methodology for equities, in general.
So if this the wrong forum, could you please advise what the appropriate forum is?
