"Much ado about nothing".
IMHO the attack on Israel by Iran was to "save face" ie: for the attack on its embassy in Syria.
The actual attack date was telegraphed well in advance with minimal damage.
The theocracy in Iran is extremely unpopular with its people. The free falling Rial went past the 500,000 mark to the US dollar shows the dire state of Iranian economy.
Iran is in no mood to conduct a major war with Israel. I think Iran learned their lesson in the war with Iraq in the 80's with casualties estimates in the millions.
