What did Jesus do in the temple when he found the abominations etc in there? Did he just smile and say, I love you?
Jesus came to show us the Father - Many don't quite grasp the full context of this but, a key context of that showing is "The Word" (Not himself, but "the word"), from which, from whom the words of God come and Jesus makes it's plain and simple that these words of His Father Will Judge you (John 12:48) and if that were not so, he would not have said so.
So any words that are supported, based around the words of the Bible, Christian's are expected and obligated to share them, regardless as to whether it offends some.
God's word doesn't change but obviously mans use of them does, not to mention mans incorrect translation here and there from the original languages.
