A quick google and Atto 3 looks like a BEV version of a CX3. CX3 costs 32k. So you've effectively paid 15k in fuel costs in the capital outlay. At a usage of 6.3L/100km (CX3 2.0L FWD) and $2 a litre, you'd be able to drive the CX3 for 120,000km before the Atto 3 is cheaper, if the Atto 3 is being charged for free.
You've stated the Atto 3 costs 200 a year to drive 15,000km, add another 120,000 KMs of power price to the tally and the Atto 3 is at cost breakeven around 150 to 170,000km. Only 10,000km before the battery is out of warranty at 180,000km or 8 years.
Not exactly cheaper when you add up capital outlay, even with free fuel. If you dont keep it for more than 120,000km than you are actually worse off without subsidised fringe benefits tax exemption on BEV and PHEV. The CX3 wont burn ya house down neither...
