It was not specifically for SEA expansion. It was to deliver growth initiatives in digital payments, accelerating new business opportunities in SEA, and working capital. IOU have always stated that they were not looking to raise debt to fund Malaysian operations and BNPL as they were to be funded by the CR money.
Considering the mobility issues, the opportunities in SEA clearly aren't there right now. Given the expansion has already been paused, and I repeat paused, until the circumstances within SEA become more favorable, it makes complete sense to invest in the Malaysian market.
