Ms Bell has an updated Apendix 3Y on record as at the 16th of April. Presently she & her husband hold 526,729 options, held directly and 543,441 ordinary shares, held indirectly. Mr Swedish similarly, holds 45,942 ADS, held indirectly, representing 459,420 ordinary shares plus 1,327,077 options, held directly.
Both directors seem invested in the company. But Ms Bell brings a lot of extra relevant skills (albeit to a non-executive role), There's no reason to doubt her ability to manage the conflicts of interest and duty, or duty and duty, that will arise & to give CEO Itescu clear advice and assistance in managing his own role.
Ms Bell is younger, that's true, but more importantly she's Australian - to me this is critical, as I want to see reassurance that this corporation will remain domiciled in Australia for tax purposes, albeit maintaining and supporting its NASDAQ listing. And she's familiar with Australian law requirements.
And importantly the full Board supports this - including whoever represents Dr George' family trust.
I'm looking forward to chatting with her again at the AGM. Where she will be in attendance. No doubt.
