Yes. Jesus never claimed to be God, because He declared as such many times in the Bible.

There can be no doubt that had Jesus been a somehow a mystical part of the Godhead, detached, but not detached, He would have made it abundantly clear that He was God. There is no mention in the Bible of a literal Trinity or Jesu being God.

All others religions are aware that their Prophet, Teacher, Manifestation of God, was not a literal aspect of God. God would not descent from absolute perfection to imperfection, if so then He is not God.

Actually it is about how we understand it today, because we are responsible to the truth in this age. If an error of understanding entered the Christian belief it most certainly does not deserve to be eternally accepted when we now know better. Just as once the earth was flat and the centre of the universe around which the sun revolved. Scripture is knowledge and all knowledge must be tested and reviewed.

I'm not pushing an individuals claim here. The Muslims and Baha'is are newer religions and they both see Jesus as a Manifestation of God, a perfect mirror reflecting God, not a literal aspects of God which is contrary to all the claims made about the nature of God.
