That's it exactly. Doing so would not make one iota of difference to the level of CO2 in the atmosphere. If we want to achieve our place in the world as being a supplier of plentiful and quality nutrition to the rest of the worlds population, we need CO2 levels to continue to rise to allow increased plant growth, and a warmer atmosphere that will support more moisture to fall as rain, a natural desalination plant.
