This company has a product that seems to best the best in its sector (even though there are competitors), it's likely to become the gold standard and become the technology on which others are rated.

Whats the market cap of this company ?
524 million.
Why is it such a high market cap? Because it has a product that fills a niche better than any other product. It's getting vindication from important player in its industry, has recurring revenue stream and seems to be just about ready to hit the mass market.

So we can see that good products get high valuations off low key financial metrics.

The question for Alexium is, is this product as good as it seems?

If yes- This is way undervalued and will go up more. As disruptive technology gets much much higher premiums than any other product.

If no- This is overvalued. As it doesn't make much money nor will its growth prospect be good if DuPont can come along and offer a better product at a cheaper price.

Whats the chances of yes? I'd say very very very good based off research (as posted on this forum by many people), but nothing in life is 100%.

If the 'bulls' research is correct, this is the best value this has just about ever been in its existence, as the US legislation is looking to be of huge assistance.

If we're wrong, we're all drinking the Kool-Aid together.

If the price was 46.5 today, or 86.5 today it wouldn't decrease nor increase AJX's chance of market penetration, nor of acceptance by NATICK/FRACU.

It makes me laugh that all the boot sinkers come on in, when this is still a long long way from playing out fully.
Someone like Mitta can't end up with egg on their face, as Mitta's calls have all been short and medium term. Hell, he/she will probably pick it when it turns and starts heading up.

All these people who see a dropping price as vindication that their 'feels' that this market darling is going to be a dud, because they have a vendetta against Pinto could well be in for a shock.

They think that because it's 46 today, it's going to have a bearing on where this will be in a year. If this is the product it seems to be, things can and will change very very quickly. It may not change for 3 months or 6 months or 2 years even, but when it does, it could easily put on a few 100% in a few weeks... Just look at what it did in Nov-Dec 2014

Its been very interesting watching the attacks and how many take the view the company is doomed because the SP has fallen. Nothing fundamental to back it up its just doomed. How else can it be beyond doubt LTers are all wrong? Im sure some will get on for an upturn and they'll sell for some lunch money profit as well.
