Don't mean to be a negative nancy here but Immunotherapy is mainstream and has been around for years.. basically any drug ending in MAB is an immunotherapy. If the lady at the counter mentioned a cancer killing (oncolytic) virus, totally different story! But it will happen sooner or later.
