"If Australia can get ahead of the curve , export opportunities abound.'' Not sure that getting ahead of the curve in heavy manufacturing is Australia's forte. We are surprisingly good at niches, but not sure I would see this as niche, if it were to become the norm. Certainly would not like to see a lot of money that might perhaps be spent on , lets say, decent child mental health care , being spent on developing such an industry.
