If ever there was a time for civil disobedience in Tas... If all the homeless cordoned off the work site, camped there in peaceful protest what have they got to lose. Concentrated in one area would make it easier for charities to feed them to sustain the cause. Any government with a scintilla of empathy for its underprivileged in a cold climate would put a roof over their heads before spending $millions on a goddamn footy field. Does the government have no concept of priorities. In any case, with the advent of social media making the coordination of protests so easy it's about time folks started to sack-up and stand up for what is fair.
