My wife works in healthcare. She just got home from a long day at work, where upon shift change, 3 nurses tested positive on the rapid test they’re required to take before entering the premises. No one to replace them, no agency staff available, so it’s left to a skeleton crew for the afternoon shift. I highly doubt this is unique.
Im happy I don’t have any relatives who are sick at the moment, or in aged care. It’s a matter of when, not if the system breaks.
Bur as long as South Africa is sweet. I mean, you’re comparing a third world country to us. You are not living in the real world.
