You can't halt trading to put a stop on speculation in the absence of information. Otherwise, every spec stock would be in permanent trading halt.
You can only halt trading in the event you have material information that needs to go external for review, that you cannot release to the market yet. i.e. insider information. Clearly, there is no information that 4DS has at the moment that they consider to be material that has not already been announced.
